Hello, Amazing You. I am so happy that you are joining me not only for another podcast episode, but a new year and my one year celebration of Back to Here with Sarita. I don't know where to start. I am so blown away with how phenomenal my first year of my podcast went. It was this time last year I officially launched.
And it was my first episode that I dropped as a baby podcaster just a year ago, and I had done just a little bit of planning. But now that I look back, I didn't really know much about podcasting at that time, but I have learned so much in just these last 52 weeks having this show. So if you're hearing this and the audio version wise, you probably won't notice.
that I'm actually doing this podcast episode as a video podcast. Now, this is not my everyday surroundings just to let you know where I'm at. I'm actually recording while I'm on vacation in Sedona, and I'm staying at this really, really cute little Airbnb that I absolutely love. And the view from the backyard is absolutely incredible.
As I drove into the city yesterday, I felt the vibe change. Like I felt a shift and I felt so at home or I do feel so at home because it's a spiritual Mecca out here. And if you want to keep up with my adventures, please make sure to follow me on the gram at Sarita Wellness. So if you have been with me for a little while, you will know that over the course of the last year, I'm not foreign to video podcast styles.
And in fact, I had video podcast episodes whenever I had my guests come on the podcast with their self embrace stories. However, I have decided that I wanted to do something a little bit more challenging for myself and create a video podcast on the solo episodes. And so now I'm offering the podcast as a solo episode, and I've gotten some feedback on it, and people actually really like.
the podcast in video format. So lucky for me, I'm somewhat comfortable with video as I have developed the last four years and getting accustomed to speaking on camera through TikToks, Reels, my IG stories, workshops, speaker series. So I thought it would be a really fun addition and nice addition to not only my brand, Sarita Wellness, but also this podcast back to here with Sarita for...
this. Sorry for catching this on YouTube. Thank you so much for being here. And yes, all the episodes going forward will be video format and audio on all platforms. I just really like to cater to whomever likes to do what they love. So a very warm welcome to you. If this is your first time being here, my name is Sarita. Like I said, this is my podcast that I drop every other Monday episodes.
And this podcast is all about healing and wellness. It's an educational podcast that covers everything that'll help you along your healing journey. And I love talking about anything spiritual, manifesting abundance, emotional and physical wellness. And most recently, I love talking about inner wealth wellness. And you're probably asking, what is that, Sarita?
Well, along with this podcast, I love to share on my social media, and I love coaching people one-in-one to help them activate their inner wealth and abundance, aka abundance consciousness. So you probably hear that word a lot, right? Abundance. And we are automatically conditioned to think of money when we hear the word abundance. But money is actually just a form of abundance.
and not the only form of abundance that there is in this world. Abundance simply is overflow and excess, and abundance is actually a feeling and a frequency. And I speak heavily about this in my five day workshop, activate your inner wealth and abundance. And since abundance is a feeling and a frequency, it all starts with you.
To become a magnet to what you desire in this life, you must first become conscious to your inner wealth wellness, aka your abundance frequency. And so you're probably asking, how the heck did I get started with all that? Well, quite simply, it wasn't until I started doing my healing journey about five years ago that I realized how much of the opposite I was experiencing in my life.
about abundance, which means I was experiencing a lot of lack in my life. I'm talking about scarcity. And scarcity again doesn't necessarily have to do with money. It just means lack of, void of, non-existence of. In my experience, scarcity has showed up mostly in the form of I'm not enough. I have lack of value. And this showed up in my love life, relationships, career, weight loss, relationship with my mom.
You name it. All of this accumulated through experience is like being adopted from Central America at a very young age. Being raised by a single working-class mother who struggled. Growing up in a household where we didn't really talk that much about our feelings. Which led me to work really hard to try to get attention and validation.
I had the feelings of being awkward because I didn't look like my classmates growing up due to color of my skin. My body image issues. I was told as a young child, you're too much. So I ended up dimming my life and my essence. I worked really hard for money and I always found myself in a rut no matter how much I worked for money. I didn't speak up for myself because I was fearful of being disliked or somebody leaving me. So all these things.
scarcity experience. Does any of this sound familiar to do? To you? And this was how scarcity played out over time after time, the wounding over and over again until I realized something needed to shift. And so it was early in 2019 when I decided to drop, when I decided to drop my successful insurance job and work more heavily in my wound healing on all levels. And this journey has been quite the journey.
which I have been sharing the last couple years on my social media platforms and most recently in this podcast, Back to Here with Sarita over the last 52 weeks. So you will definitely get to know me a lot more over the course of this next 52 weeks of our year 2024 and I have some really amazing treats coming your way via this podcast and I consider this podcast my baby. It
