Sarita Buer (00:00)
Hello, beautiful soul and welcome back to Back to Here with Sarita, the new manifesting paradigm podcast.
It is unreal that not only is it a new year, 2026, this is my first episode of 2026,
but this is the third year of Back to Here with Sarita, the new manifesting paradigm podcast.
It is unreal to me how far this podcast has actually come.
not to mention my own personal evolution and the evolution of myself as a manifestation coach.
I remember dropping episodes back in, I think it was October, 2022.
it was even that summer before just gearing up for the podcast. And it was something that I really, really wanted to do so heavily. And I'm so grateful that I've stuck with it all these years.
just to see the evolution of the podcast itself going from
just reflecting on my personal
stories, my own self healing post my bankruptcy and breakup and burnout, and then starting to
have guests on my podcasts that have gone through similar self love stories. And then really
claiming myself as a manifestation coach because behind the scenes I was literally recreating my
over again from scratch. If you've not heard that story, I'm not going to tell it today, but you can go back and listen
some of my other episodes where I share with
I literally started with 200 some dollars in my pocket post my eight year relationship and have intentionally been recreating my
again.
almost feeling like I've had a second chance in essence to recreate my life while using the amazing tools of the subconscious mind, nervous system, and manifestation.
So this particular episode is going to be nice, short, and sweet. I'm going to be talking a little bit about the nervous system and also how
have decided, and it's something that's been in the works for a little while now,
that I've been wanting to kind of shift the way I've been talking about manifestation.
And if you did listen to my last episode that dropped last year, was kind of like an accumulation. It really brought all the things together
my manifestation journey and being a nomad. I'm in about my seventh month now
a nomad and I have learned so much about myself,
so much about energy, about frequency, about manifestation, about boundaries, about moving around,
all the things. And you can keep
up with my journey, as I've mentioned before.
do post quite a lot on multiple platforms.
I'm under Sarita Wellness
on many, many
That is Instagram,
and then also my
And I am also under Life of Sarita B, which is my own personal Facebook, which I share a lot more of some of my personal triumphs and things like that and where I've been.
And then my Sarita Wellness really on, especially on my TikTok and my Instagram really go into the manifestation aspect of being a digital nomad.
So if you did catch that last episode,
like I said, I bring all those things together
and talk about how being nomadic has really allowed me to perceive and experience manifestation in a different way.
than when I was stationary in one city for a long time and just kind of learning
a conceptual way, through the mindset way.
this episode,
going to be sharing with you
have chosen as I move forward when it comes to manifestation, kind of pivoting the way that I speak about it based on my own personal lived experience.
So let's go ahead and dive in.
When I was learning about manifestation, I started learning about the law of attraction quite some time ago. I think it was definitely pre-2020,
it was during COVID shutdown when the world felt like it completely shut down.
really jumped a lot more into
manifestation world and learning more about it and reading as many books as I could.
consuming as many podcast episodes and listening to thought leaders speak
manifestation.
so a lot of what I was consuming, and I'm not gonna say all of it, but a lot of what I was consuming was very mindset-based. It did talk about the subconscious mind
there wasn't a lot of rhetoric out there at the time and continuing on to 2021 and 22 as I
more into it and started utilizing the principles of manifestation to recreate my life over again,
realized that there was ⁓ not so much rhetoric out there about the nervous system. And so I put it upon myself to learn more about the nervous system and how it impacts me as a person. And so what I found is
A lot of information out there is about nervous system regulation. So we'll get into that in this episode. How nervous system regulation isn't necessarily the desired outcome for manifestation,
it is something that is very necessary and important. going back to the,
the topic, or I should say the title of this
is I'm not going to be teaching mindset only manifestation anymore.
I'm definitely going to bring in the nervous system as
of the equation. I have been,
you have been listening to this episode, or excuse me, this podcast for a while,
you'll know that I have talked about the nervous system quite a bit. In fact, one of my signature little programs, a Go At Your Own Pace program that I have, Activate Your Inner Wealth and Abundance, I speak heavily about the nervous system. And that program was created about two, three years ago. ⁓
And it was very cutting edge at the time because I was bringing these two worlds together, the world of nervous system and also the manifestation aspect from the people that I was learning from, which also were very cutting edge thought leaders in this world of bringing these two things together.
again, I understood so much of it on a conceptual level from my lived experience,
but
Being a nomad and starting my nomadic journey back in May of this year put everything into a brand new perspective. so essentially I am living proof that this kind of life is very necessary. The colliding of the manifestation and nervous system, or I should say the subconscious and the mindset work and the nervous system work. I'm living proof that this is really, really important.
work that needs to be done in order to create the life that you desire to
the first part of this episode, I want to talk about
how mindset manifestation is kind of incomplete. And this is again from my own personal lived experience. I've talked about this in some other episodes before,
I want to hone in on the understanding that mindset
work helps people understand manifestation, but it doesn't mean they're necessarily living it. And let me put this into perspective for you. There are a lot of books and resources out there when it comes to the health and wellness industry. It is a ridiculous money making industry out there, like a billion dollar industry, and that has everything to do with books.
and podcast episodes to supplements to all these different things, wellness spas. I mean, it really covers a
And yet there are so many people navigating life unhealthy, unwell,
not really living life in the state of
a good vibration, or I should say vitality. So they're living a lot in survival mode.
And so when it comes to the mindset industry or the man's manifestation mindset only, I feel like it's incomplete because it's not necessarily giving you the full experience where when it comes to the body, your body has the final say,
body has the final
Mindset helps people understand manifestation on a conceptual level. Again, this is what I lived and breathe and experienced back in San Diego. I understood the concept of manifestation. You could sit there and explain it to me. I could regurgitate the information really well. I could talk about
And yes, like I was integrating aspects of it into my life, which I know that I was because I was manifesting experiences and things in my life.
while I was co-creating with the universe, yet there was a lot of my bodily senses that were still feeling very unstable. And so I've said this before, is it one of the things that I really crave for people to understand when it comes to the manifestation process is safety within the body. Now I will get into how the nervous system actually has been co-opted and diluted, the nervous system work, but
I will get to that in a
but the safety aspect is something that I needed to integrate moment by moment by moment as I was continually doing the mindset work. And so this is where I feel like a lot of the mainstream manifestation teachings are missing this.
And again, I'm not saying all the manifestation teachings because there's many thought leaders, many manifestation coaches out there that are talking about the nervous system and the importance of
Yet
the goal again is not about nervous system regulation to avoid,
avoiding manifestation and keeping that as a way to keep you from taking action
it's very, very important as well. But back to the mindset work.
I feel like the mindset only approach to manifestation, which is the identity work, a lot of it is based on the teachings of,
or I should say the lack of and ignoring the aspects of survival response, burnout, identity and safety
and capacity limits. That aspect is really, really being missed.
Speaking from the perspective of a woman who has experienced life here in the United States as a Latina, a brown woman, a immigrant as well,
the mindset community is not designed with me in mind. It's not designed with my experience in mind, especially being a woman of color. It is just not designed that way. And again, I said this in my last episode.
A lot of the mindset approaches and even the more spiritual based mindset approaches, which is kind of a,
I should say like a little bit watered down, can come from this perspective
mind setting your way through an experience and bypassing the things that I just mentioned, which is the survival responses, the burnout, the identity safety and the nervous system capacity limits.
Now that being said, there are a lot of coaches and teachers out there and thought leaders that are teaching nervous system stability or nervous system regulation, right? So they're kind of opting
the mindset work and really honing in on the nervous system only
a lot more of a feminine approach. So the masculine approach is very the mindset only kind of approach.
that does not take into consideration the things that I just mentioned. And then on the flip side, you've got people that are teaching nervous system regulation to the point where I feel like there is some bypassing
of utilizing nervous system regulation to avoid action and delay decisions and stay small. And so that's not the point to me. That is not the.
point of healing, although that is really important, it's not necessarily the point of healing.
ability to stay calm and regulated doesn't necessarily
the increase of capacity.
Now I'm not bashing the nervous system work that is specifically in the very feminine type of energy because believe me, I needed that so badly. After I quit my corporate job of 10 plus years, or I should say 15 plus years, I was deconditioning from a very, very, very masculine type of work. Like when I was having to work a corporate kind of job and it is a very masculine type of environment.
The part of me that wanted the most love and attention was the feminine aspect. And so what ended up happening for me was that I completely disassociated from my masculine energy. got into the place where I just really thought that the masculine energy within myself or how I had been conditioned was
I thought I needed to rest, I needed to recover, I just needed a break, I didn't want to take any type of action, I wanted to lay around and literally do nothing. And although that's beautiful and great, and I needed it for that time, unfortunately, there are people that get really stuck in that area and use excuses like, I feel dysregulated, I'm not feeling like I can do that.
My body doesn't feel safe, right? And so it's all about, and again, I've said this where it's like, it's not a one size fits all approach. It's not a cookie cutter approach when it comes to manifestation. is an equation to manifest yet. The fun part about it is being able to figure out what works for you, right? It's like cooking, it's like baking. Everybody has a different way of creating a final product. If you've ever watched a cooking show or a baking show,
You can follow the instructions, yet everybody has their own finesse and way of doing things. That's the same thing about manifestation.
when you are fully just in this feminine energy
inaction, I should say, your nervous system is not desiring to take
the lead or take any action.
because you're in a state of avoidance because you're in this regulation loop and that is not helpful either.
Again, I want to emphasize there's a time and place for the nervous system regulation only because I have been in coaching containers. I have been in experiences where, I've hired coaches as well, where I've had A, a very masculine approach and mindset my way through things, or B, I've had somebody who is really, really feminine, really in their flow state and had really no strategy and things like that.
And so it really, really is important for you to understand where you are in that moment. Like I said, me who had just quit that nine to five corporate job of 15 years, I definitely could
done really well in a nervous system only regulation group because that's what I needed for the time. Yet,
if you are the type of person...
who has been in this nervous system regulation cycle for a while and things have not been manifesting and appearing in your reality the way that you want it to, it might be a time to look at how can I bring in this masculine energy, the mindset aspect, the subconscious work, right? The more masculine action approach to assist me within my manifestation process.
So I can speak about this stuff so much more clearly now than I used to. Again, when I was living in San Diego for all those years, I had a very routine-based type of life. And yes, I was learning manifestation through a very mindset approach way. I went off on my own and started learning more about the nervous system regulation. I found...
one container, one coaching container where it blended the two really nicely together. So I got to learn these different aspects with myself. so while I was still in San Diego, the last couple of years that I was living there, I was playing around essentially with this, with this feminine and masculine type of energy,
the more mindset
and the more nervous system work. So I'm just going to kind of refer to them as nervous system and mindset. And then I'm going to interchange that with
feminine and masculine energy or I should say masculine with the mindset and feminine energy with the nervous system regulation and so it's very interesting to see how those two things started to come together a little bit more in my life and again, it was like I was on a cooking show on a baking show and I understood
recipe for manifestation a lot of us understand the recipe for manifestation
We have a visualization, Or we have an idea, we visualize it, and we become the person that needs to be in order to manifest the thing that we desire. And that is outcome, right? So the recipe or the equation
or the framework is very the same in many different places that you go when you hear about manifestation. Yet it's learning how to tweak it according to your own needs and where you're
where you are in your life and seeing and being very tapped in to yourself to understand exactly where it is that I need to make improvements or make changes or shift my consciousness or shift my mindset or shift my body needs and things like that. so becoming a nomad literally changed how I understand embodiment. So these last seven months being a nomad,
I am living proof, and I say this with a 111 % conviction, I am living proof that this stuff is not just theory. It is life. So being nomadic, remember, removed familiarity, routine, external safety from
And so as I was on the move, I needed to constantly be ⁓ regulating my nervous system.
So one of the things I want to point out that's really important here when it comes to regulating the nervous system and kind of circling back to what I was talking about before when you could possibly get in this nervous system ⁓ cycle over and over again, right? The nervous system regulation cycle over and over again
that people will sometimes consider activation as being something that is dysregulating to the nervous system.
and it's a bad thing, right? They'll associate it negatively. my nervous system is activated. It must be a negative
Yes and no, right? It's not a clear defined yes or no answer. It's like a yes, it's yes and no, right? So the no part of it, or should they say the yes part of it is that when you are doing something different that is not according to your everyday routine,
your nervous system is going to be experiencing something, going to be experiencing it, and it's going to feel a little different. That's just the way it is. For
me, I was in San Diego. I was preparing my life to be a nomad. I was doing all the things. I was preparing my car. I was getting my storage ready. I was telling friends. I was changing my address. I was doing all these things,
my nervous system was starting to get a little bit antsy.
Like it was like, my gosh, it's getting closer, the date, like I'm leaving, like this is really happening, right? And of course my nervous system was really activated. It was, and I don't want to say it was dysregulated. No, it was not dysregulated because I had been doing plenty of work in order to regulate my nervous system and become, know, become the nomad before I was actually the nomad. That was the identity that I was aiming for before I became it.
was I am a digital nomad, right? I'm able to work from anywhere. That was the identity I was honing in on constantly all the time. And of course, my nervous system was a little askew and it was being activated. Was it being dysregulated? No, it was not. It was in the place where it was experiencing things. And then when I started the nomad life, my goodness, of course my nervous system was in
an experience and an identity that yes, it had been starting to formulate, right? Because I had done not only the mindset work and the subconscious
I'd also done the nervous system regulation work. So it wasn't like the shock
not even thinking about it and just one day, like I'm a nomad, right? But it was the preparation for it and becoming and identifying.
And so, yeah, of course, once I got out on the road,
I realized the nervous system wasn't in a state of calm and regulation. It was in the need
to be more regulated as I was going and experiencing life. So the regulation
me is not necessarily the goal or the outcome, right? I'm circling back to the point that I made at the very beginning of the episode. The outcome or I should say the desired outcome
Because this is what a lot of teachers are teaching is the goal in life. The ⁓ new goal in life is to have a regulated nervous system. The new flex is a regulated nervous system, which is true. Yes. So I'm not going to say no. But I'm not going to say it's 111 % the desired outcome. Because it isn't. A regulated nervous system is only
supportive and helpful when
there is the masculine energy behind it, right? The action-based things, the identity work, the subconscious work. So stationary life let me understand manifestation,
but it was because of being a nomad, helped me understand on less of a conceptual level, but an energetic level, a nervous system level.
that forced me to actually embody it on an even more like heavy degree outcome.
So going back to the nervous system loop or regulation, right, loop that you may be on or you may have experienced,
is that expansion will always create some level of discomfort.
Expansion will always create a level of discomfort. Just like I was saying when, before I was being nomadic, the growth aspect of it, I was starting to expand my capacity of what it would feel like and what it would, how I would experience life as a nomad. I did a 30 day experiment before I committed to the full year experiment.
This time last year, I did an episode one year ago where I called it my 30-day experiment, essentially being a nomad. And it wasn't just like, ⁓ being nomadic. It was literally the identity of the woman. And this was my goal in life, right? You may have a different goal. You may have ⁓ wanting to manifest $10,000 a month through your business
manifest a specific person, a partner in life, right? A husband.
or some other things, right? And so I was
testing and trying it out and becoming that version of myself. So it was like, that was my first little win to myself. It was the discomfort of trying that 30 day sort of suit on, right? And experiencing that. And it was a confirmation to my nervous system. It was validation to my nervous system. It was that outcome and that
goal, that successful goal of it working out in the 30 days that helped me to have a higher barometer when it came to my manifest desired outcome, right? The manifestation or the desired outcome. It was my small win that I was able to digest and really feel on that level
I realized, okay, this is possible. My nervous system
can handle this. I can do this. This identity is a real thing.
and then of course committing five, six months later to the whole year process, right? So discomfort is part of the growth. It is not a signal to stop. Oftentimes, and I've been guilty of this many times before, where I feel discomfort in something, even when I have done plant medicine before. And you might've listened to some of these episodes where I've talked about doing Kambo
before and the first time I did it, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Like I had little to no knowledge of Kambo or any type of plant medicine really. Like I'd heard of ayahuasca. I had heard of Hape before, but like I didn't know what any of this stuff was. And so it's probably better that I didn't know any of that stuff going into, you know, the wellness container that I went into. ⁓ Very ⁓ uneducated, yet I learned so much from
part, that
that retreat that I did was really uncomfortable. But I learned that on a body-based level, how important it is that even when something is discomforting, it's not necessarily a signal to stop and to retreat and to be done, right? So for example, this might be something that you relate to, is you have a relationship with somebody, you have a partner, even with a...
a parent or something, and you start to vocalize to them ⁓ your desires or you start to create boundaries and stuff and you get backlash from them or you get somebody that doesn't understand you and they ⁓ say something to make you feel small. And so that discomfort, you may digest it or think about it or feel that it's a signal to stop. It's a signal to not go any farther.
Let's say you are posting on social media and you are maybe for your business and you're wanting to get clients and customers into your funnel and see who's interested in hiring you for your services. And you start posting in things and you don't really get a lot of responses. You don't get a lot of likes. You don't get a lot of interactions. And you may think of this because believe me, I have been there too as a person who's been online for quite some time now have thought.
⁓ that's just an indicator that I don't have anything important to say. Like no one wants to hear what I have to say. And it's uncomfortable for me, so therefore I'm gonna
In fact, it's quite the opposite, right? Expansion will always create some level of discomfort. If your manifestation doesn't make you feel uneasy, then you're dreaming too small, really. That's how I see it. So my big dream,
right when I was recreating my life all over again with like $200 in my pocket and I had just broken up with my ex. had moved into my new place. I was sitting in my room with like all these boxes. I was sobbing my eyes out. Not that much later.
And it had been something that I'd been thinking about for a while because COVID had just happened 2020. So that was 2021. So it was like a year
One of the things that I was like,
I really want to be able to work from anywhere. I want to travel. I want to go places. I don't want to be constricted to one city. I just want to be able to to go where I want to go. And that was overwhelming to me at the time. had $200 in my pocket. I was like, how the heck do I do something like this? Right. And it's been a process to get to where I am now. But
I was creating a vision for myself that made me feel uneasy and
was at the time a little discomforting because it was like, my gosh, that's like crazy, right?
It was because of that that allowed me to continue to
create growth within myself through mindset work, through the subconscious, through also the nervous system regulation that allowed me to get to the place where I am now.
So manifestation, your desired outcome, the thing that you really want or the things I should say, there might be multiple things that you really want.
Manifestation should feel a little bit on the dangerous side because this is why. Because the version of you that is where you are now does not have it, right, yet, right? It's not manifested into your 3D reality. We can talk about quantum physics and stuff and how the subconscious mind and all these things where you already do have it, it's already yours because you have a desire, it's already yours.
But what I'm trying to say is the version of you that does not have it yet has not outgrown the situation you're already in, if that makes sense. So the version of you that is experiencing it, we don't want to see in the future because time is linear, Or ⁓ cyclical, sorry. And so the version of you that is experiencing it already has already outgrown where you are now.
feels a little bit dangerous because you haven't outgrown the situation or experience that you are in right
going back to what I was talking about, experiencing life so much differently now as being a nomad and especially as a woman of color,
seriously believe that this nervous system work while being a person of color, being a woman of color,
is not necessarily about lowering the ceiling, right? We're in this like nervous system regulation cycle because it's very important, right? The nervous system regulation is absolutely imperative. It is so, so important. I would not be here talking about it if it was not important because it's been such a impactful part of my journey and my process. And so especially
learning how to navigate life as a nomad, being a person of color, I've realized it isn't about lowering the ceiling for us and just keeping us in this regulated state and cycle, but it's about building safety and these increments to allow us to pursue the dreams that weren't necessarily modeled to us, right? I didn't have growing up
role models.
that I could talk to or interact with, or even people that I would really see on TV too often or in media that often that were modeling a life that I really wanted, which at that time it was more about the success of wanting to be, when I was really little I wanted to be a dancer, and then at one time I wanted to be an architect until I realized that took way too much math. And then,
It was about wanting to be somebody that was making really great impact in my world. And so, yes, I had several people, and this is back in the 80s and
I didn't really have those models of pursuing my dreams in a more safe way because I kept seeing people that looked like me pursuing their dreams, but yet
being boxed in.
put into these like molds and putting into these things that society has created for us.
if you do identify as a person of color and even a woman, this type of work, this healing process is really about building a bridge for ourselves because regulation again is not the desired outcome, is not the destination.
The regulation aspect is the bridge to be able to
create safety in the body so we can pursue those dreams, pursue the things that we really, really desire that our ancestors were not able to or capable to for so long.
So in essence, everything that I've been talking about in this episode and the last episode that I dropped back at the end of last year, episode 74, is talking
framework and the stance that I am now living. Like I said,
I am an embodiment. I am an example of what is possible, right? I said that I am the type of person that is experiencing this firsthand. I am living proof.
It is not a theory anymore. Manifestation is not a theory. Manifestation regulated nervous system, taking action, utilizing the subconscious mind, all these things that I've been talking about for quite some time.
literally living proof that this all can work together and you can create the life of your dreams. And so this is essentially the bliss method that I've come up with. It is the methodology that I created
before I left San Diego and was kind of ruminating over and just kind of throwing words together and just kind of creating my own sort of ideas when and again, this was based on my lived experience utilizing manifestation and the tools of mindset and the subconscious mind and the nervous system to recreate my life over again
It has been exponentially heightened in these last seven months being a nomad and understanding
understanding that regulation is not the complete desired outcome, but the goal is really staying available for what's possible in life.
And learning that by dreaming big does create some level of fear and it does create some level of excitement. And it definitely activates the nervous system and utilizing nervous system regulation tools to help support me while taking action and blending again these two components that are really important in the manifestation process, the feminine and the masculine energies.
And so essentially this is the bliss method that I came up with. It's a five step framework that I created back in San Diego. And now I live it and breathe it every single day as a nomad. Again, I'm living proof that this is possible. And I've created the bliss movement, which is a grassroots effort, which is the workshop that I just did. Or when this episode airs, it will have already passed, but it's because I'm recording this before the workshop actually happens.
But when the episode airs, the workshop will already have been completed. The Manifestation as Liberation here in Philadelphia, that's where I am currently and will be for a few more weeks. And so the Bliss Movement is basically the grassroots effort in bringing this methodology into workshops, helping people through this process.
And the key focus for the BLISS method is not for you to be perfectly regulated, right? The goal is for you to stay available and open to your life with possibility. Regulation is not about staying calm. It's about staying with yourself as you expand and are able to receive and hold more.
So if this all lands for you, what's coming up for 2026, essentially the bliss method. I know I've been talking about this
and I've been creating this in a very sustainable way. Remember, it was something that I had created back last year before I became Nomadic, right? And I had started to package it. I had started to put it together. I started to sell it, but it wasn't until...
I became nomadic and started putting that framework into practice every single day and fine tuning it and creating something that's going to be a lot more sustainable for the clients, for you, for people that come in and experience this methodology. Now it's even more exciting and it's even more.
more of a way for you to expand your capacity to hold what it is you really, really desire. So if you are interested, I've got the link below that you can save, pretty much save the date for the launch of the Bliss Method group container that'll be launching a little bit later on this year.
is for people who are done shrinking and are ready to expand with integrity
with your nervous system to hold a bigger life and the BLISS method is your key to doing that.
Thank you so much for being in this episode. It's always so great to connect with you here. My podcast is my baby. I've said this multiple times. I'm so happy that I've stuck with it. There have been times over the course of the last few years where I felt like sometimes it can be a little bit of a chore to get things going and put together and things like that when it comes to certain episodes and
and co-creating with other people that are on my podcast as well.
But I am really grateful that I'm here with you and I'm excited for what is to come for 2026.
forgot to mention the theme of this year 2026 is the embodiment manifestor. So everything that you are going to be hearing going forward is going to have to do with nervous system mindset in the subconscious, a lot more so than I did before. So manifestation lives in the body, right? The mind can only do so much and going forward, we're going to be doing a lot more body based type of information. And again, look out for the bliss method that's coming soon.
Thank you so much for being here. We will see you in the next episode. And as always, keep being the amazing you as you are. I'll see you next time. Take care.
